Canon PIXMA MG3600 series is a simple multi-function printer with a high-resolution flatbed scanner that works well for scanning fragile photos or slightly thicker media such as spiral notebooks with handwritten notes. The unit can print photos with fine detail, and its good color accuracy makes it suitable for casual color printing. It doesn’t print very quickly and doesn’t produce as many pages, but the low price of the cartridges helps keep costs-per-print low over time. Unfortunately, the unit does not support printing via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct, and does not have an automatic document feeder. Still, it’s a decent model if you’re on a budget and want something to print and scan for the occasional document or photo.
